VSG Events has grown naturally out of an ad-hoc service often requested by our existing blue chip clients. This ‘in-house’ event security division is a valuable addition to our comprehensive portfolio and allows us to ensure superior quality service - something we are passionate about. We can provide a team of dedicated and motivated events professionals, trained to maintain a safe, secure environment for you, your guests, visitors and the general public - whether at a big sporting event, exhibition, festival, concert or conference. And because we understand no two events are the same, we tailor our service to fit your needs.

Our recognition that security personnel need to understand the critical balance between providing a secure environment, and ensuring event goers enjoy themselves to the full, means we take care to select staff that have great interpersonal skills, as well as practical competence.

All our employees are SIA licensed we have a dedicated Training Academy that offers a large selection of accredited training courses to ensure our ground staff are not simply qualified security staff, but trained well beyond regulatory levels. Specialist security functions

In addition to general events, we also carry out many specialist security functions that are requested by the Police and Security Services to enhance the security of an event.

Search Operations

• Our Technical Search Operators (TSOs) have experience of some of the largest public space environments in the UK
• We provide a search support function to Police
• Only very experienced TSOs are used for search tasks
• We can provide the specialised equipment needed
• Large numbers of visitors can be searched in short time frames with minimum delay

Close Protection Operations

• Protection for high profile celebrities (whether they’re a guest or taking part in an event)
• Specialist teams for executive VIP protection (blue chip corporations and government)
• High risk events
• SIA licensed, experienced staff, some of whom have Military/Police Close Protection Training

Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM)

• Our team can do a technical ‘sweep’ of clients’ locations prior to high level/high risk meetings, AGMs or where espionage or leaks are suspected
• With identification of potential irreversible loss of business information
• Specialist staff are carefully screened and have proven ability
